Group fitness has undergone a significant evolution in the past decade. The aerobics classes of the 1980s gave way to boutique cycling studios, then to functional fitness, and now to a more sophisticated model that combines evidence-based programming with community accountability and expert coaching. At The Colosseum, our group fitness schedule reflects this evolution.

What Makes a Group Fitness Class Worth Attending

Three factors separate transformative group fitness from expensive time-filling: programming quality, coaching expertise, and community caliber. Programming quality means the class is built around a coherent physical adaptation goal — not just "make people tired." Coaching expertise means the instructor can observe, cue, and correct in real time. Community caliber means the people in the room push you to perform at your edge.

The Colosseum Class Schedule

Our weekly schedule includes Power Hour (strength-focused, Monday/Wednesday/Friday mornings), Metabolic Conditioning (high-intensity interval training, Tuesday/Thursday), Athletic Performance (movement quality and sport-specific conditioning, Monday/Thursday evenings), Yoga Flow (mobility and recovery, daily), and Saturday Sweat (community class, rotating format). All classes are included in Full and Founding memberships.
